Name Sesh & MattAbout About us Matt Matt completed AWARD School in 1992 and was immediately offered a junior writer position at Leo Burnett Sydney. In 1995 he left to join the boutique agency Batey Kazoo where he stayed until 1999 before leaving for overseas. After freelance stints at a number of agencies throughout Asia that included Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, Matt moved to the UK. Here he was a founding partner of the Wild Colonial Boys consultancy and helped to land the sizeable ‘Refresh UK’ beer account. After moving back to Australia, Matt once again joined Leo Burnett, this time to work with Sesh. During his second tenure there he has worked on Virgin, Subaru, McDonald’s, Colonial First State, NRMA and many other large accounts. In early 2008, after almost four years as a team at Burnetts, Matt (together with his partner Sesh) joined Lowe Sydney. Here they worked on J&J, Unilever and the Football Federation of Australia. In his spare time, Matt is an accomplished ‘bedroom’ guitarist; he surfs most mornings (weather permitting) and is the founder of the ‘Hunter St Laksa Addicts’ Facebook group. Sesh Sesh started his career working as a designer in the UK, creating books, magazines and branding for Vogue, Agent Provocateur, GO, House and Gardens, Virgin, Marks & Spencer and Harrods. After joining O&M London’s interactive department during the late ‘90s, Sesh rocketed through the ranks to become one of their most awarded art directors and the brainchild behind some of the industry’s most revolutionary digital campaigns. After completing the acclaimed D&AD workshop, Sesh was lured back to Sydney with the offer of an integrated role at Leo Burnett Sydney – where he would ultimately team-up with Matt. After four years together, the team joined Lowe Sydney and worked across the board on a number of local and international accounts including Unilever and J&J. Sesh is also a keen musician. In the mid 90's he played for Sydney’s PSK – supporting the Beastie boys, Ice-T, Body Count, L7, Silver Chair, Screaming Jets, and the Pixies. He also recorded with, and was signed to, Phantom Records, Sydney. More recently, Sesh has co-produced ‘Dreams of Hope’ for Taurine, appearing on Ministry of Sound’s ‘Chill out Sessions 6’. He also produces and DJ's at Sydney's leading clubs and fashion events under the name ‘Tiptronik’ which has had radio play on JJJ and Fbi and is extremely prominent on myspace. |
